The program will be devoted to honoring and celebrating Moms and women role models/influencers. Each girl will bring something special to acknowledge the Moms in their lives. This is a GREAT opportunity to be creative.

One of the following activities are being considered for the group:
One day trip to St. Augustine, Florida
Ride on the Sun Rail to Sanford or Kissimmee ending with lunch and a tour of the area.
*We will get pricing on all options early, so that a vote can be made. This will allow the families that choose to participate have enough time for payments and to also put on their calendar so they can plan summer trips around that date.

The program will bring everyone together to celebrate, honor and learn about the history of Black Leaders in America and Ways to Love Yourself and Self Care presented by EGI Mom Nicole Oxil, Owner of Miss Bliss Oasis.

This event will be a discussion and activity on Vision Boarding. We want each girl to walk away with a plan that they can execute in 2024!

Preparing for School Success
Our meeting will focus on the critical components ensuring the girls are ready to have a successful school year. We will talk on goals and have a “Back to School Fashion Show.”
Family Day! Family Fun! Family Time!
This will be a planned day of fun. We will have various games, food, and fun. The activities may include bowling, a movie outing, or a game of kickball. Final details will be provided.
Juneteenth Celebration
Juneteenth commemorates an effective end of slavery in the United States. Juneteenth (short for “June Nineteenth”) marks the day when federal troops arrived in Galveston, Texas in 1865 to take control of the state and ensure that all enslaved people be freed.

Mental Health Awareness
Our meeting will focus on self-care. Also, a discussion on ways to navigate through life’s challenges. We will have an expert to come in and share with the girls. Also, we will wrap up with a Yoga exercise to give the understanding on meditation.
Springtime Fun Time- Earth Day Fun!!!
The program will focus on learning about Earth Day and growing our own vegetables. We will have a guest speaker to share on the subject matter. The girls will also get seedlings to grow their own vegetables or fruit.
Money, Money, Money
Our meeting will focus on financial literacy. We will be
discussing the importance of budgeting and the value of
savings. Discussion on how to increase money in savings.

Each girl will bring something special to exchange to another EGI girl. The special gift should speak in a manner of encouragement and love. This part of the program will be about building one another.
