Celebrating Mothers!!!

The program will be devoted to honoring and celebrating Moms and women role models/influencers. Each girl will bring something special to acknowledge the Moms in their lives. This is a GREAT opportunity to be creative.

Remember! It’s about giving from the heart. Make it special!!!

Family Day! Family Fun! Family Time!

One of the following activities are being considered for the group:

  • One day trip to St. Augustine, Florida

  • Ride on the Sun Rail to Sanford or Kissimmee ending with lunch and a tour of the area.

*We will get pricing on all options early, so that a vote can be made. This will allow the families that choose to participate have enough time for payments and to also put on their calendar so they can plan summer trips around that date.

Juneteenth Celebration

Juneteenth commemorates an effective end of slavery in the United States. Juneteenth (short for “June Nineteenth”) marks the day when federal troops arrived in Galveston, Texas in 1865 to take control of the state and ensure that all enslaved people be freed.

Mental Health Awareness

Our meeting will focus on self-care. Also, a discussion on ways to navigate through life’s challenges. We will have an expert to come in and share with the girls. Also, we will wrap up with a Yoga exercise to give the understanding on meditation.

Each girl will bring something special to exchange to another EGI girl. The special gift should speak in a manner of encouragement and love. This part of the program will be about building one another.
